Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to independently perform a variety of skilled maintenance duties across RPMC communities. This role requires diagnosing and repairing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in apartment or multi-family settings.
• Certifications in HVAC (NATE), Plumbing, Electrical, EPA, CAMT are required or substitutions allowed.
• Combination of maintenance education and extensive experience may substitute for certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance duties including inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of housing facilities.
• Complete work orders, preventative maintenance, unit turnovers, and custodial duties while following safety standards.
• Coordinate with teammates, property managers, and tenants; communicate progress and timelines clearly.
• Operate tools and equipment, manage storage areas, and ensure OSHA safety practices are followed.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with special maintenance projects as needed.
