Job summary

Madison Communities in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance across our multifamily properties. You’ll manage a maintenance team, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safety, quality, and timely service for residents.

The role requires EPA and CPO certifications, hands-on expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction, plus strong supervisory and communication skills to work with property management and

Qualifications

Must have EPA Certification.
Must have Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and construction.
Strong supervisory and resident-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of property maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
Plan and oversee maintenance budget to stay within financial guidelines.
Maintain safe, organized shop areas with adequate parts and tools.
Recruit, train, and supervise a maintenance team and foster teamwork.
Collaborate with property management to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize resident disruption.
Lead by example to ensure safety regulations and standards are followed.
