Job summary

NALS Apartment Homes is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to organize and direct day-to-day on-site maintenance operations, lead a team, and ensure 24-hour service and at least 50% rent-ready units. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and a commitment to exceptional property care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in multifamily maintenance at large properties, EPA and HVAC certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and directing a maintenance team in a multifamily setting.
• Ability to manage turn-overs and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, and direct day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Provide leadership and direction to the on-site maintenance team.
• Maintain property appearance and ensure 24-hour service requests are met.
• Oversee safety training and enforce NALS PM guidelines.
• Manage unit turns, logs, and daily maintenance tasks.
• Respond to after-hour calls and emergencies such as backups or floods.
