Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Hills Apartments in Kansas City, MO. You will supervise maintenance tasks, oversee a small team, and ensure timely work orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation. Relevant HVAC, EPA, and CPO credentials and 4+ years in maintenance are highly valued. A competitive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO certification a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in maintenance.
• 4+ years in multi-family housing preferred.
• Experience managing 1+ employees.
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Experience with light plumbing and electrical work.
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process).
• Pre-employment screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager.
• Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
• Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors.
