Job summary

Axis Residential is seeking a people-focused Maintenance Supervisor for Affinity at Albuquerque. You will lead the on-site maintenance team to ensure the property stays in excellent condition and adheres to company standards.

This role requires hands-on supervision, strong resident relations, scheduling, training, and evaluating staff while maintaining safety, budget, and preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with a “we over me” approach to relationships.
• Experience developing and leading a high-performing team.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalency; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
• Maintain a community culture focused on resident service and property care.
• Build rapport with residents of the community.
• Provide training and performance evaluations for staff.
• Participate in interview and hiring of maintenance staff.
• Coordinate stand-up meetings with maintenance and office teams.
• Follow and optimize a maintenance program for economic, safe property operation.
• Perform maintenance and repairs of facilities, common areas, and units.
• Complete unit turns on vacant apartment homes promptly and professionally.
• Schedule and respond to service requests and work orders.
