Job summary

Axis Residential is seeking a customer-service oriented Maintenance Technician for Affinity at Keller, a 55+ active adult community in Fort Worth, TX. You will handle onsite maintenance, respond to work orders, and ensure safe, well-maintained homes and common areas, collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and site team.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, solid English communication, and prior experience in residential property management, hotel

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Preferred experience in residential property management, hotel maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting.
• Computer proficiency to include email, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to navigate web-based trainings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and work orders to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with daily inspections of building and grounds for safety and asset protection.
• Maintain plumbing and electrical systems, drywall and carpentry repair as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with appliance repair/removal, unit turnovers, and maintenance of vacant apartments.
• Perform grounds maintenance and snow/ice removal; ensure ADA walkways are safe.
• Assist with light fixtures, ceiling fans, and lighting in vaulted ceilings and common areas.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule and repair community equipment.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday emergency services as required.
