Job summary

Apartment-Management-Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site maintenance team at a Rio Rancho, NM community. You will oversee daily upkeep, preventative tasks, and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy, while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include interviewing and training maintenance staff, coordinating vendor work, managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge are required.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Maintain safety policies and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks.
• Interview and screen potential maintenance staff with the manager.
• Train service, custodial, and grounds personnel.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean and safe.
• Oversee vendor work and required inventory.
• Respond to service requests and on-call incidents.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and replacement logs.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance at all times.
