Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support on-site maintenance across properties in our portfolio. You will assist in carrying out routine, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, ensuring timely responses to work orders and resident requests.

A strong emphasis on safety, housekeeping, and teamwork will be key to success. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand on-site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Maintain daily on-site presence and perform routine, preventive, corrective, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed promptly for grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Support in maintaining a safe, organized maintenance shop and follow safety guidelines.
