Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance at a Carrboro, NC community. You will assist with corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, with regular on-site duties and a focus on keeping grounds and buildings in good condition.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of OSHA and Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance and daily onsite attendance is required.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in maintenance tasks.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold resident satisfaction.
