Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Make Ready technician to support maintenance operations at our properties. You will ensure unit readiness, perform repairs, and assist with preventive maintenance while upholding safety standards and resident satisfaction.

The role requires basic computer skills and a High School Diploma, with knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA beneficial. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth and benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required to operate on-site software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in, including repairs or replacements, painting, and appliance installation.
• Repair or replace fixtures; inspect plumbing and electrical systems as part of make-ready.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/turn events for units and common areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and safe working environment.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and log chemicals accurately.
• Maintain records of service requests, preventive maintenance, and make-ready status.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with hazard communications and safety practices.
• Assist with inventory monitoring of equipment and supplies.
