Job summary

Hamilton Health Box (HHB) seeks an On-Site Clinical Assistant (OSC) to manage daily clinical and administrative operations at the Marfa clinic. You will engage patients for scheduling, deliver protocol-driven care, and support health education initiatives.

Travel between HHB locations may be required to ensure consistent care. The role requires LPN/LVN licensure and BLS certification, with Spanish/English bilingual ability preferred.

Qualifications

• State Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout an organization.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
• Knowledge of disease and lifestyle topics such as smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, stress reduction and chronic conditions.
• Willingness to travel between clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with employees for scheduling and follow-up.
• Deliver protocol-driven care as ordered by the Provider.
• Coordinate care delivery with pharmacy services and referral networks.
• Assist with annual physicals, screenings, and documentation of results.
• Schedule follow-ups and return-to-work exams.
• Coordinate referrals and document progress in medical records.
• Provide health education and one-on-one counseling.
• Work with electronic medical records and related software.
