Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations. You will install, repair, and relocate POS and communications equipment, providing training and preventative maintenance. Expect roughly six to ten detailed daily activities, with travel to customer sites and weekend availability to meet field demands.

You will work with MS Office tools, maintain records, and troubleshoot both software and hardware issues while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery vehicle and perform field service tasks.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Troubleshooting software and hardware in a retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Strong customer-satisfaction focus and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations, including installs and maintenance.
• Provide a positive customer experience using technical and service skills.
• Communicate product value and match solutions to customer needs.
• Perform field repairs, installs, and relocations of equipment with minimal supervision.
• Maintain vehicle records and ensure timely service at locations.
• Log service calls, report data issues, and coordinate with leadership.
• Troubleshoot communications inside a retail location and train customers.
• Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
