Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations. You will perform installs, removals, preventative maintenance, and relocations of equipment, while ensuring a positive customer experience and effective problem solving.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting communications, maintaining vehicles, and training customers. A high school diploma and clean driving record are required, with comfort in a dynamic field environment in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and clean driving record required.
• Ability to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of troubleshooting computer software and hardware technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service calls at lottery retailer locations (installs, removals, maintenance, service).
• Provide a positive customer experience using technical and service skills.
• Communicate the value of services and match products to customer needs.
• Perform field repairs, installs, removals, and maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Manage company vehicles as required by guidelines.
• Coordinate with Data Center to ensure timely service and issue understanding.
• Record service data and report communications problems to management.
• Follow through on customer issues requiring additional support.
• Troubleshoot communications within a retail location.
• Train new and existing customers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and strive to resolve issues on first contact.
