Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light & Medium Duty Technician in the United States. You will perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on light/medium duty gas vehicles for assigned fleets, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

You’ll document work orders, manage parts and tools, and communicate with Dispatch to obtain approvals and schedule work while maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance performed on light/medium duty gas vehicles.
• Accurate documentation of work orders, parts used, and findings.
• Maintain safety practices and follow regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment (electrical, braking, cooling systems, engine electronics).
• Document work and upload RO photos using company device and app.
• Communicate with Dispatch and management to obtain approvals and discuss findings.
