Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light & Medium Duty Technician to perform certified DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnosed repairs on light to medium duty trucks. You will service scheduled fleets, document work orders, and ensure safety compliance in an on-site setting.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and at least 3 years in a related field, with DOT pre-employment screening and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience.
• Possess a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA pre-employment background screening and DOT physical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment.
• Complete DOT forms and document work orders.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
