Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join Corcoran Fleet Services to support growth. You will perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer locations, with a focus on DOT inspections and safety compliance.

The role requires travel across the area, a rotating schedule, and a strong emphasis on accurate documentation and safety. A formal training path and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.
• Participate in and complete all-in company required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with safe operating practices and procedures.
• Travel to and perform work at customer locations, most work outside.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, lubrication.
• Use hand tools, precision instruments, Diesel tools, lifts, and jacks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, and transmissions.
