Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our fleet services. You will perform preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer locations across the region, traveling extensively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skill/experiences.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.
• Participate in and complete all-in company required training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Travel to and perform work at customer location, mostly outside.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles in the field.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/ braking/ cooling systems and components.
• Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders.
