Job summary

Cox Fleet is actively hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our nationwide mobile on-site maintenance and repair services. You will perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics on light/medium vehicles at customer locations across the region.

This role requires DOT inspections, field service experience, and the ability to work a rotating Mon-Fri / Mon-Sat schedule. Aflat-rate position with extensive work available.

Qualifications

• Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections, light and follow-up repairs, light mechanical/hydraulic/electrical diagnostics, and DOT inspections.
• Independently determine parts required for each job, order and pickup parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and perform work at customer locations, often outside, with most work performed in the field.
• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles and follow up repairs.
• Document findings on Repair Orders using mobile tools and ensure timely completion of DOT forms.
