Job summary

Vallen is seeking an On-site Service Technician II focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services within the Vallen Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, and preparing accurate reports and worksheets, ensuring documentation is complete for invoicing and customer records.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 Certifications (manufacturer/state) in a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years related experience.
• Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls.
• Identifying equipment discrepancies.
• Preparing accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Providing customer service in inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of life safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, hose, gas detectors, respiratory equipment, fall protection, and safety shower/eyewash units.
• Ensuring testing and repair documentation is complete and submitted for invoicing.
• Keeping customers informed with required documentation at servicing.
