Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at the property. The Leasing Manager works with the Community Manager to set goals and an occupancy strategy, and leads the leasing team to deliver effective leasing, marketing, and resident relations.

The candidate should possess strong leasing skills, housing regulations knowledge, and experience in customer service, with vendor and budget management capabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective and leases are signed
• Audit lease files for policy adherence
• Address resident complaints and maintain satisfaction
• Develop and implement resident retention programs
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents
• Assist in developing annual marketing plan and budget
• Implement marketing efforts to generate traffic
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and provide support
• Supervise leasing events and renewals
• Maintain property knowledge and market surveys
• Use sales/marketing strategies to increase traffic and occupancy
• Support Community Manager in staffing and training

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred

One year’s housing industry experience (preferred)

Basic computer skills
