Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at the property, working closely with the Community Manager to set goals and drive occupancy. You will lead the leasing team, ensure effective leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations.

The role requires regular onsite presence, strong knowledge of leasing processes, and collaboration to develop annual marketing plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s housing industry experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of on-site software functions.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management: oversee leasing and marketing; set goals with Community Manager.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Ensure staff leasing techniques lead to closures; track documentation and reporting.
• Audit lease files for policy compliance.
• Address resident complaints and maintain satisfaction.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Assist in developing annual marketing plan and budget.
• Lead marketing efforts and campaigns to generate traffic.
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and provide needed support.
• Supervise leasing and renewal events with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain knowledge of property, competition, and market conditions; report weekly.
