Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment, while proactively identifying issues and implementing preventative maintenance.

Leadership and mentoring of maintenance staff are key elements. Responsibilities include safety leadership, scheduling, and coordination with vendors, with weekend on-call rotations and a strong emphasis on resident satisfaction and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• CPO & HVAC certifications are required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools; ensure tools are in good condition.
• Monitor and correct hazardous conditions; label utility cut-offs and map properties.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff; conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Approve service requests and manage maintenance budget with management approval.
