Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, validate and repair instrumentation at customer sites, primarily in Minnesota, with some travel to western Wisconsin. The role emphasizes responsive, professional customer support and adherence to safety and service standards.

You will manage service data, complete preventive maintenance, and work with contract customers on warranty or hourly-billed services, while developing technical and soft skills to uphold PerkinElmer's

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering or related military experience with 2+ years troubleshooting in a lab setting.
Associate degree in Applied Science etc. with 4+ years troubleshooting in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, validate and repair PerkinElmer and multivendor instrumentation at customer site.
Drive toward zero service recalls and complete preventive maintenance calls within time frames.
Provide maintenance for contract customers and remedial maintenance for non-contract customers billed hourly.
All warranty services and adherence to installation, warranty and service contract provisions.
