Job summary

ARUP Laboratories is seeking a Client Site Liaison II (Laboratory Send Outs Technician) to support Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS. This on-site role handles specimen processing, packaging, and client liaison activities with DOT/IATA-compliant transport and regulatory awareness.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in a lab setting or phlebotomy experience, and a 30 WPM typing speed. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or better.
• Experience: 1 year in specimen processing, phlebotomy, or lab setting.
• Type 30 words per minute.
• Experience with ARUP Connect and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

Responsibilities

• Pour off, label and process ARUP specimens per test directory.
• Prepare ARUP specimens for transport per DOT/IATA guidelines.
• Maintain required certifications for handling infectious substances.
• Resolve issues related to test or specimen submissions.
• Maintain client communication and provide needed information to clients.
