Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a live-in, on-site leadership role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary operations, manage staff and budgets, and ensure strict allergen safety and sanitation.

This seasonal contract runs May through September, demanding a high-energy, organized leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and live onsite for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role
• Scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date)
• Ability to live on-site
• Willingness to work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, timely meal service.
• Strict allergen protocols and sanitation standards management.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office
