Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our summer camp program. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This live-in position runs May through September at rural camp facilities nationwide, offering competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
