Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at our rural summer camp program. You will supervise daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety to ensure high-quality, scratch-made meals.

This live-in, seasonal position runs May through September at camp facilities across the United States, demanding a 6-day/70-hour week in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager certification with Allergens knowledge prior to start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, problem-solving and high computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain high-energy service.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Control inventory, procure orders, and monitor daily budget reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers, leadership, Wolfoods operations and HQ.
