Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking an Information Technology Field Services Technician to provide on-site hardware, software, and networking support in Austin, TX. The role requires travel to multiple company locations daily and occasional overnight trips.

You will work with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, VMware, Linux, and various networking and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years IT desktop/field/technical support experience.
• Experience administering Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with AD, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless.
• Basic Linux command-line skills are a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ServiceDesk or similar ticketing software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; able to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, configure, and support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Support AD/Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
• Install and troubleshoot networking gear: switches, routers, WAPs, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Support retail technology including POS systems and peripherals.
• Deploy and replace desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Maintain documentation, asset inventory, and ServiceDesk tickets.
• Travel daily to company locations; occasional overnight travel.
