Job summary

Sistema Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Support Technician for an onsite contract in Austin, TX. You will install, repair and maintain PCs, troubleshoot software/hardware failures, and resolve desktop networking issues while mentoring junior technicians.

Applicants should demonstrate strong experience with Office 365, Teams, and Cisco Webex, and be ready to lead initiatives and create knowledge resources for end users.

Qualifications

• 4+ years providing white-glove executive level support.
• 5+ years end-user support experience.
• 5+ years supporting PC hardware and software installations.
• 5+ years troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years supporting Microsoft Productivity tools (Office 365, Teams).
• 4+ years supporting video conferencing solutions (Cisco Webex).

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance of PCs and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware failures across endpoints.
• Identify network issues related to desktops or laptops and resolve them.
• Provide technical training and lead project efforts; mentor junior technicians.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician for an onsite contract in Austin, Texas.

The worker will have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. Performs installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers (PC) and related systems. Troubleshoots and resolves software and hardware failures. Identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers. Provides technical support, training, process creation and leading various project efforts, and is an exceptional local leader and mentor to junior Technicians

Minimum Yrs of Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• 4 Experience providing “white-glove” executive level support
• 5 Experience providing end-user support
• 5 Experience in supporting personal computer hardware and routine software installation
• 5 Experience troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in a enterprise environment
• 5 Experience supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as Office 365 and MS Teams
• 4 Experience supporting video tele-conferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• 5 Experience creating technical knowledge articles
• 4 Experience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment
• 5 Working in a multi-vendor environment for support operations
