Job summary

NTT DATA is actively seeking a Skilled Services Technician to provide on-site, remote, and phone support at client sites. You will collaborate with the engineering team to install and test software and hardware, maintain servers and network hardware, and diagnose issues while escalating when needed.

The role requires troubleshooting and proactive monitoring, with potential to act as an informal team leader. On-site working arrangements are standard for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vendor and product certification preferred
• A+ certification beneficial but not crucial

Responsibilities

• Provides support when problems arise and maintains a log of repairs
• Carries out routine server and network maintenance tasks
• Performs setup and maintenance of backup systems for desktops and file servers
• Engages with clients and may assist with software/hardware installation and break/fix
• Ensures hardware and software are installed on client sites
• Tests installations and assists with fixing performance issues
• Contributes to client engagement and team quality of solutions
• Proactively monitors ITSM queues
• May act as an informal team leader
• Performs other related tasks as required
