Job summary

The Circuit Court of Cook County, Office of the Chief Judge is hiring a Systems Analyst II / Computer Technician to support court operations with hardware and software troubleshooting, help desk ticketing, and user training. This exempt, on-site role requires a strong customer service mindset and proficiency with Windows, Office, and IT certifications.

Qualifications

Minimum one of the following: High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office suites.
CompTIA certification or equivalent IT certs.
Good confidentiality, professionalism and communication.

Responsibilities

Assist Operations Manager with receiving, inventorying, distributing, and decommissioning computer hardware.
Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support and customer service to staff.
Triage requests, log tickets, and monitor queue.
Troubleshoot endpoint hardware/software issues and escalate as needed.
Log communications in help desk system and track resolutions.
Respond to inquiries via phone, chat, or email in a timely manner.
Follow up to ensure issues are resolved to user satisfaction.
Stay current with system updates and changes.
Perform basic training for end users as needed.
On-site work with travel to multiple locations in Chicago and Cook County.
