Job summary

Resorts World New York City is seeking an IT Technician to support and maintain in-house technology and IT assets. The role includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading corporate hardware while ensuring optimal performance.

You will troubleshoot issues, provide end-user training, and manage inventories and contracts to support a guest-focused hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.

Responsibilities

• Supports and maintains in-house technology equipment and IT assets.
• Install, configure, diagnose, repair, and upgrade hardware and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems in a timely fashion and provide end-user training.
• Writes technical specifications for purchase of corporate technology equipment.
• Develops and maintains inventory of hardware and networking equipment.
• Receives and responds to calls, pages, and emails regarding hardware problems.
• Documents hardware failures, repairs, installations and removals.
• Maintains knowledge of contracts and supervises contract-based installations.
• Demonstrates guest-focused service and teamwork to support operations.
