Job summary

Sightpath Medical Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Support Engineer for an on-site role at our Bloomington, MN headquarters. This position supports Windows and iOS devices, manages user accounts, backups, security, and phone systems.

You will troubleshoot issues via phone, email, and Datto RMM, document procedures, and collaborate with IT teammates to maintain UAT/production readiness. This full-time role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in IT systems support or helpdesk roles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and iOS devices.
• Familiarity with on-prem Active Directory, remote management tools, Veeam/Datto Backup, VMware, RingCentral, and Jamf is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to provide clear step-by-step technical guidance, both written and verbal.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• Certifications in Microsoft, VMware or related technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 Helpdesk support.
• Assist users via phone, email, or Datto RMM to resolve issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resources.
• Prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
• Maintain user administration in systems (RingCentral, Jamf, AD on-prem, Office 365).
• Perform local backup maintenance and testing (Veeam/Datto).
• Maintain antivirus across locations and provide hardware/network support.
