Job summary

State of Florida seeks a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst to provide desktop support and maintain end-user computing systems at the Tampa DCF Offices. You will perform on-site support for hardware, software, and networking components and assist with VOIP and connectivity.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, IT education, and the ability to work outside normal hours; travel for emergencies is sometimes required. This is an on-site position with no telework.

Qualifications

• At least one year of IT environment experience in field-based support or call center.
• At least one year of experience supporting Windows 10 or newer OS and applications.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software and networking; good troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, implement, maintain, and support end-user computer systems including hardware, software, and networking components.
• Provide on-site and remote support as needed; coordinate with regional/statewide staff.
• Troubleshoot issues and document resolutions in the ticketing system; ensure timely updates to end users.
• Assist with VOIP phones and LAN/WAN connectivity; ensure secure, reliable connectivity.
