Job summary

Empath Health in Florida is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator to provide hands-on desktop, laptop, and mobile device support for colleagues across the service area. This role installs software, updates, configures settings, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, and responds to tickets, calls, and walk-ins.

On-site travel between locations is required, and participation in on-call rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related field with 3+ years of end-user support experience.
• Microsoft Certification on Office Applications, Windows 7/8/10; CompTIA A+ Certification strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL reference model.
• Must be available for on-call rotation overnight and weekends.
• Must be able to work on-site and travel between locations; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides desktop, laptop, and mobile device support for end-users and telecom services.
• Creates and implements solutions to fix ongoing system issues to minimize disruptions.
• Performs physical inventory of laptops and equipment for accurate inventory records.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
