Job summary

Hansel Auto Group is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage our IT backbone across multiple dealership locations. You will keep networks, servers, and core systems healthy, secure, and standardized, acting as a technical anchor for the help desk and mentoring junior technicians.

This hands-on role offers ownership, opportunities to document processes, and to lead projects while collaborating with the IT Director. Regular travel between sites is expected to ensure consistency and reliability.

Qualifications

At least four years of related IT experience including hands-on network and server administration.
Strong English communication; Spanish is a plus but not required.
Valid CA driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain and administer networks, servers, systems, and hardware across all locations.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect data and devices.
Monitor infrastructure proactively and resolve issues before outages occur.
Troubleshoot root causes and recommend hardware/software improvements.
Provide Tier 2/3 end-user support by ticket, phone, and in person.
Assist help desk during busy periods and mentor junior staff.
Create and maintain clear documentation for continuity.
Build repeatable IT service processes and standards.
Lead projects from start to finish, individually or with teams.
