Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a System Administrator I to support server administration, MES, endpoint support, backup operations, patch management, and daily infrastructure monitoring in a manufacturing tech environment.

The role requires hands-on Windows and Linux experience, AD/DNS/DHCP knowledge, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. This position is on-site and involves occasional overtime and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years IT experience preferred.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Basic Linux administration knowledge.
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of backup concepts and patch management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to support internal users professionally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Support and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
• Monitor server health, performance, and availability.
• Assist with MES connectivity, performance, and operational issues.
• Escalate production-impacting issues to senior staff or vendors.
• Monitor daily backup jobs and verify completion.
• Deploy and monitor patching activities.
• Perform daily infrastructure monitoring and respond to alerts.
• Troubleshoot workstation, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Document incidents and resolutions; maintain procedures.
• Assist with automation initiatives using scripting tools and process improvements.
• Support infrastructure projects and system implementations.
