Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a System Administrator I to support server administration, MES, endpoint support, backup operations, patch management, and daily infrastructure monitoring in a manufacturing tech environment.

The role requires hands-on Windows and Linux experience, AD/DNS/DHCP knowledge, and strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. This position is on-site and involves occasional overtime and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
3–5 years IT experience preferred.
Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
Basic Linux administration knowledge.
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Knowledge of backup concepts and patch management processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to support internal users professionally.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
Monitor server health, performance, and availability.
Assist with MES connectivity, performance, and operational issues.
Escalate production-impacting issues to senior staff or vendors.
Monitor daily backup jobs and verify completion.
Deploy and monitor patching activities.
Perform daily infrastructure monitoring and respond to alerts.
Troubleshoot workstation, printer, and peripheral issues.
Document incidents and resolutions; maintain procedures.
Assist with automation initiatives using scripting tools and process improvements.
Support infrastructure projects and system implementations.
