Job summary

AmeriPro Roofing in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our on-site team. You will support a diverse technology environment, including IT infrastructure, cloud apps, servers, networking, and security systems, delivering responsive end-user support.

The role demands analytical problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users while collaborating across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Four years of IT support experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with networking hardware and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and related endpoint operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot software, hardware, workstations, servers, telecommunications, and endpoint devices.
• Maintain information systems infrastructure and cloud applications and monitor systems performance to identify improvements.
• Provide frontline and tier-two end user support, including responding to service requests and resolving issues.
• Implement, operate, and support audio/visual equipment, security systems, and point-of-sale terminals.
• Collaborate with users to analyze needs and recommend solutions to enhance operations.
• Identify IT process improvements and contribute to policy and procedure development.
