This role monitors system performance, security events, and operational health while maintaining current software releases, security patches, and configuration standards.The position supports the design and implementation of secure system architectures, access controls, and security solutions. Provides advanced technical expertise in managing security technologies, troubleshooting complex system issues, responding to security incidents, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational information systems.Department: Information Systems - Reporting to the Information Security DirectorHours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week requiredOn Site - Located in Mattoon, ILRequired: Associates degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experiencePay: Based on experience, starting at $70,158.40**Responsibilities**Actively participates in the applications on-call rotation cycle which includes 24-hour availability, general working knowledge of most systems, ability to make correct judgment decisions, and working knowledge of operational procedures., Adheres to departmental procedures and standard work processes., Administers needed changes to procedure manuals and other documentation., Installs new systems software releases and modifications in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements without adverse effects on current production operations, and with minimal impact on development and test systems., Maintains adequate levels of security to ensure the protection of equipment and protect the confidentiality and integrity of data., Maintains a high level of knowledge of assigned systems, applications, modules and supported workflows and provides ongoing support and administration, including systems testing, deployment, performance monitoring, maintenance, issue resolution, upgrade and lifecycle management., Monitors the performance of the organization’s systems and databases with responsibility to ensure a high degree of responsiveness and reliability and to ensure completion of scheduled jobs.
