Job summary

Hoerbiger Rotary Solutions/Deublin Company in Illinois seeks a Systems Administrator to own the implementation, administration, and ongoing support of the IT infrastructure. You will ensure reliable operation, performance, and availability of systems supporting daily business, collaborating closely with IT teams and vendors.

The role emphasizes network and systems management, backup and disaster recovery, documentation, and security collaboration with the IT Security Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of seven years’ experience administering servers and enterprise IT systems.
• Strong knowledge of network, server, and desktop operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network hardware and protocols.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support servers, workstations, operating systems, network equipment, and peripheral devices
• Monitor system, server and application performance and address issues proactively
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and storage allocations
• Execute backups, restorations, and disaster recovery testing
• Coordinate with IT teams and vendors on deployments and enhancements
• Work with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to support IT services
• Create technical documentation and operational reports
• Collaborate with IT Security Manager
