This hands-on role supports a diverse tech environment including IT infrastructure, cloud applications, servers and endpoints, networking, physical security, audio/visual systems, and end-user support.
The Systems Administrator installs, configures, troubleshoots hardware/software, responds to service requests, and helps improve system performance.
AmeriPro Roofing, an Industry leader in Storm Restoration, is now hiring an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in our Downers Grove office Headquarters. This position is on-site. The IT Systems Administrator will act as the security guard for our system. This hands-on position supports a diverse technology environment, including IT infrastructure, cloud applications, servers and endpoints, networking, physical security systems, audio/visual systems, and end-user support.
The Systems Administrator maintains and supports information systems and technology infrastructure; installs configures and troubleshoots hardware and software; responds to technical support requests; and identifies opportunities to improve system performance. As a direct point of contact for end user support, the Systems Administrator is expected to provide responsive and courteous service to users of the system.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound independent judgement, effective communication and customer service skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and work collaboratively throughout the organization.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field and four (4) years of IT support experience; oran equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evenings, weekends, or after-hours work required to support system maintenance, technology projects, outages, and other operational needs.
