Job summary

Teton County in Jackson, Wyoming is seeking an on-site IT Support Technician to provide basic technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain standard computer applications and hardware.

Under supervision, you will assist with user onboarding, printer and copier support, and routine network and server tasks, while pursuing CompTIA A+ and another certification; a valid Wyoming/Idaho driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of IT experience preferred.
• Valid Wyoming/Idaho driver’s license required.
• Acquire and maintain CompTIA A+ and at least one of the following: Security+, Network+, or Server+.

Responsibilities

• Responds to client inquiries and collects information to diagnose issues.
• Provides technical support and basic training to employees.
• Maintains work logs and documents resolutions.
• Performs hardware and peripheral maintenance and repairs.
• Assists with website-related questions and user access changes.
• On-boarding and off-boarding IT accounts and door access.
