Job summary

TALENT Software Services in Warrenton, VA is hiring a Desktop/Technical Support Technician to support the PVCC on-site. The role will independently provide IT administration and support for agency software and hardware, with occasional support for remote Veterans Benefits sites.

Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and network gear; supporting LAN/WAN; training users on email apps; maintaining inventory and tickets; and ensuring security

Qualifications

Experience installing, troubleshooting, and administering Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
Ability to document changes and create procedures for solutions.
Willingness to travel to satellite offices; travel reimbursed.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and related devices.
Setup and troubleshoot Android and Apple mobile devices.
Support LAN/WAN environments and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Install, administer, and train users on Google Suite and related email apps.
Manage IT inventory, ticketing, and reporting.
Configure and troubleshoot phone systems.
Identify security vulnerabilities and report incidents.
Track end-user support activities through the ticketing system.
Monitor network and computer systems performance.
Travel occasionally to satellite offices with travel expenses reimbursed.
