We are seeking a skilled Desktop/Technical Support Technician to provide hands‑on IT support at the Puller Veterans Care Center (PVCC), a medical facility supporting approximately 200 IT devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and mobile devices. The technician will also provide occasional support to remote Veterans Benefits sites.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT assets.
Support Microsoft 365/O365, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, email, PST files, calendars, and distribution lists.
Configure and troubleshoot Android and Apple mobile devices.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Support desktop hardware, software, applications, mobile devices, and telephone systems.
Monitor network/system performance and resolve infrastructure issues.
Manage IT inventory, ticketing, reporting, and end‑user support activities.
Identify and report security vulnerabilities and incidents.
Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.
Provide professional, customer‑focused support and work effectively with IT teams and vendors.
Strong experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365/O365, desktop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and IT assets.
Working knowledge of networking and IT security.
Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Ability to create clear technical documentation.
Reliable transportation and clean driving record for occasional travel to satellite offices.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands‑on physical IT support activities.
Experience supporting healthcare, government, or enterprise IT environments.
Experience with ticketing systems, IT inventory, and remote/field support.
