Job summary

Schimenti Construction Company in Rye Brook, NY is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the in-office team. This role is not remote; you will be first point of contact for IT requests and work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve tickets.

You will handle Level 1 and 2 support, on-site hardware repairs, onboarding/offboarding, inventory management, and software installations. Some travel to Midtown Manhattan weekly is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Level 1 support technician.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and task management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite, networking, video conferencing, and cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for all end users on IT-related requests.
• Coordinate, schedule, and complete IT support tickets to expedite troubleshooting.
• Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed on ticket progress.
• Resolve Level 1 & 2 service requests through to completion; escalate as needed.
• Perform on-site hardware repairs and software installations as necessary.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding of team members (hardware and software).
• Manage inventory and tech stack; take ownership of assigned tasks.
