Job summary

Morris & Dickson Co. is seeking a Tier 1 Hardware & Software Support Technician to join our on-site team at the Shreveport campus.

You will be the first line of support for Windows PCs, basic networking, mobile devices, and core business apps, working closely with the IT team to maintain a reliable computing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, imaging and deploying workstations, supporting Office 365 tools, and documenting issues in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical support, help desk, or desktop support experience.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing).
• Familiarity with hardware components and PC troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows PC performance, connectivity, and configuration problems.
• Assist with workstation setup, imaging, deployment, and maintenance.
• Support users with Office 365 applications, email, Teams, and collaboration tools.
• Escalate complex issues when needed while owning the ticket lifecycle.
