Job summary

CoreSouth Systems is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level IT Support Technician to provide on-site technology support at a private school in Macon, GA. This full-time, on-site position offers hands-on experience and growth in a professional MSP environment.

No prior IT experience required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued. You’ll work with students, teachers, and staff to resolve everyday technology challenges and develop practical IT skills.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication with students, teachers, and staff.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with electronics and hardware.
• Basic familiarity with computers, software, and everyday technology.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and willingness to investigate problems.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to manage multiple requests.
• Able to work independently while following guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Staff the on-site IT help desk for students, teachers, and staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues on laptops, desktops, and devices.
• Diagnose and repair laptop hardware, including part replacements and warranty coordination.
• Support classroom technology to minimize disruptions to teaching and learning.
• Install, configure, relocate, and replace classroom technology and equipment.
• Respond to help desk requests across the campus and document resolutions.
• Collaborate with the IT Director and CoreSouth team to escalate complex issues.
