Job summary

Dental Claim Support, based at headquarters in Savannah, GA, seeks an IT Associate to provide hands-on support for daily technology needs for employees and client partners. You will prepare, configure, and maintain equipment, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and document IT activities from Savannah headquarters.

You will help with routine hardware/software troubleshooting, ticketing, and access management while escalating complex issues to the IT team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in IT support, technical support, computer systems, or a related environment preferred.
• Technical education, certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and common technology troubleshooting.
• Ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot computers and related equipment.
• Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems preferred.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, particularly when managing equipment and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow established processes and recognize when an issue should be escalated.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when assisting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
• Knowledge of data security and HIPAA requirements is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an IT team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and test computers and peripherals for employees and clients.
• Deploy and manage equipment distribution and returns.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks including access and documentation.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues.
• Document and assist with IT tickets per established processes.
• Support software installation and user access setup.
• Maintain accurate inventory and records of equipment.
