Job summary

Dental Claim Support (DCS) is seeking an IT Associate to provide hands-on daily technology support at our Savannah, GA headquarters. You will prepare, configure, and manage equipment, support onboarding/offboarding, and assist with routine IT issues while escalating complex problems to the IT team.

You’ll help document workflows, support client partners, and ensure security/compliance with HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

1+ years IT support/technical support experience preferred.
Technical education/certifications or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
Ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot computers and related equipment.
Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems preferred.
Strong organization and attention to detail for equipment/docs management.
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow processes and escalate when needed.
Strong communication skills with users of varying technical knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
Knowledge of data security and HIPAA requirements is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an IT team.

Responsibilities

Prepare, configure, test, and organize computers and peripherals for employees and clients.
Coordinate equipment preparation, distribution, receipt, and organization.
Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment, access, and documentation.
Assist with routine hardware/software troubleshooting; escalate complex issues as needed.
Document and assist with IT support tickets per established processes.
Assist with software installation, configuration, and user access.
Maintain accurate records of equipment, assignments, and inventory.
Provide clear, professional IT support to employees and clients.
