Job summary

Fragrance.com is seeking an entry-level Desktop Support Technician I in Reno, NV. You will serve as the front line for on-site and remote employee tech support, troubleshooting hardware and software, configuring devices, and ensuring colleagues can work without tech issues.

The role is on-site, with after-hours on-call and extended hours during peak seasons. You’ll learn our systems and processes while contributing to IT Infrastructure Services under supervision.

Qualifications

• Comfortable troubleshooting Windows PCs and laptops; hands-on hardware repair experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (WiFi, routers, IP addresses).
• Experience with user account management across directory services (AD, M365, Google Workspace).
• Comfort with iOS and Android devices; handheld scanners are a plus.
• Able to research unfamiliar problems methodically using available tools.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Genuine interest in how technology works.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support to on-site and remote employees for desktop hardware and software.
• Configure, install, and troubleshoot PCs, printers, scanners, and phones.
• Reset passwords and manage day-to-day account requests.
• On-board/off-board employees, including Active Directory, M365, and VOIP setup/retirement.
• Move users between desks and manage equipment; lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Follow documented procedures and escalate where needed.
• Assist with projects, deployments, and issues as directed.
• Participate in after-hours on-call and weekend rotation.
• Be available for extended hours during peak/retail holidays.
• Occasional travel between company sites.
